Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year progressive experience in a hotel or related field required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • College coursework in hospitality or related field is a plus
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Alcohol Awareness Certification must comply with state regulations
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and demonstrate initiative
  • Strong proficiency in financial tasks and arithmetic

Job Duties

  • Lead the charge in setting up, servicing, and breaking down banquet events ensuring compliance with Banquet Event Orders
  • Maintain high standards in team appearance, service quality, and safety, enforcing policies and liquor laws
  • Assign tasks, conduct pre-event meetings, and train new team members
  • Act as liaison between sales, catering, and guests to resolve complaints and manage guest satisfaction
  • Manage schedules, wage reports, inventory, and beverage service with accuracy
  • Handle checks, paperwork, and cash transactions responsibly
  • Provide support with audio/visual equipment, attend meetings, manage lost and found items, and secure sensitive areas while representing company with professionalism
