Job Requirements

  • At least two years of progressive hotel sales experience preferred
  • Or a four-year college degree and at least one year of related experience
  • Or a two-year college degree and at least two years of related experience
  • Valid driver’s license in the applicable state required
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate, sell, and influence
  • Experience with professional selling skills including opening, probing, supporting, closing
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic vision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong organization and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and interact with people of diverse backgrounds
  • Advanced knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality principles
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure

Job Duties

  • Cast creative sales and marketing initiatives to fill event rooms and boost revenue
  • Assemble, train, mentor, and inspire a diverse sales team
  • Develop and implement strategic budgets and forecasts
  • Design and execute marketing campaigns to elevate the hotel's market presence
  • Conduct sales calls, client tours, and build lasting client relationships
  • Support the General Manager by collaborating across departments and championing hotel initiatives
  • Manage daily sales operations while maintaining high energy and team morale
