Job Description

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum five years of relevant hotel industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Supervisory experience
  • Ability to stay calm and objective under pressure
  • Must hold or obtain Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid certifications
  • Willingness to work overtime as an overtime eligible manager
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Qualifications

  • At least five years of progressive hotel experience in Rooms or Food & Beverage
  • Supervisory background required
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency with Windows Operating Systems
  • Ability to manage financial information and budgets
  • Certifications in Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid required or to be obtained

Job Duties

  • Supervise multiple departments and drive hotel profitability by managing teams and partnering with the General Manager
  • Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges to ensure smooth hotel functioning
  • Recruit, hire, and train Guest Services staff while supporting ongoing development programs
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with colleagues and guests to address concerns and feedback
  • Manage financial data and budgets to support hotel operations and profitability
  • Utilize Windows Operating Systems for management tasks and reporting
  • Uphold standards of professional appearance and grooming among staff
  • Deliver outstanding hospitality service to guests ensuring satisfaction and positive experiences
