Job Requirements

  • at least 2 years of progressive hotel sales experience preferred
  • or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience
  • or a 2-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience
  • valid driver’s license in the applicable state required
  • highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to negotiate, sell, and influence
  • thorough experience with professional selling skills
  • strong analytical skills and strategic vision
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge
  • ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • strong organization and presentation skills
  • demonstrated ability to manage and interact with people of diverse backgrounds
  • advanced knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality principles
  • ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure

Job Duties

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy
  • lead, train, mentor, and inspire the sales team to achieve and exceed targets
  • build and maintain strong client relationships through effective networking and communication
  • conduct sales calls, hotel tours, and client meetings to promote the hotel
  • collaborate with the General Manager to support hotel operations and ensure excellent guest service
  • prepare budgets and sales forecasts to align with business goals
  • analyze market trends to identify new business opportunities
