Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of relevant hotel or event experience
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to make quick and accurate decisions
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working with financial information and basic math

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year of relevant hotel or event experience
  • Proficient in Windows operating systems

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and negotiate all event details including menus, setups, and sleeping rooms
  • Respond to inquiries and book events
  • Prepare contracts and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
  • Distribute weekly event packets and critical date reminders
  • Post work schedules and assist with event collateral such as vouchers and signage
  • Organize files and VIP requests for the event team
  • Manage correspondence, handle phones and update trace logs for the Catering and Customer Service teams
  • Maintain a friendly and attentive attitude and follow company service standards
  • Assist in event execution wherever needed
