Job Requirements
- Must know how to and be able to drive automatic and manual transmission passenger vehicles
- possess math skills sufficient to calculate time and money
- must be able to understand verbal instructions and act accordingly in a timely manner
- must have unrestricted authorization to work in US
- must be at least 18 years old
- valid driver’s license
- must be able to pass a basic math skills test
- willingness to submit to drug, background investigation and driving record check
- willingness to work in specified area
- ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to walk or move to assist customers in a timely manner
- ability to travel up and down parking ramps as needed
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- professional experience parking cars or working as a valet attendant
- prior customer service industry experience
- excellent communication skills
- strong time management skills
- positive attitude and strong customer focus
- ability to handle physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- Drive, maneuver, and park automatic and manual transmission vehicles in various parking facilities
- Return to work stations quickly to facilitate optimal customer flow
- Handle each vehicle with care and follow all safety precautions
- Remain vigilant for unusual or potentially threatening activities and inform management immediately
- Monitor work area and property for safety and security
- Provide outstanding customer service by responding promptly to customer needs, questions, and complaints
- Perform cashier duties or light maintenance tasks as required
- Operate man lift if needed depending on location
