Job Requirements
- Must have knowledge and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of high school
- Must possess a Class A CDL with X or N endorsement and no airbrake restrictions
- Must have one year of driving experience free of incidents leading to license suspension or revocation immediately preceding appointment
- Must successfully complete pre-employment background check, physical exam, drug and alcohol screening
- Must be able to perform arduous outdoor labor in adverse weather and environmental conditions
- Must be able to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Must perform medium work lifting up to 50 pounds with frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds
- Must be available for emergency call-outs with response within 45 minutes
- Must be able to work at heights up to 30 feet in a bucket truck and up to 10 feet on ladders
Job Qualifications
- Completion of four years of high school or equivalent
- Possession of a Class A CDL with N or X endorsement without airbrake restriction

- Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
- Ability to work productively in a team environment
- Capacity to perform medium work involving lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Duties
- Performs maintenance, repair, and upkeep of roadway signs and sign support structures
- Maintains and repairs pavement markings and related maintenance equipment
- Directs and controls traffic during roadside construction and repairs
- Sets up lane closures safely and efficiently
- Operates snowplows and related equipment during snow and ice conditions
- Spreads salt or sand on roadways to improve traction
- Performs routine housekeeping duties in the headquarters
- Maintains job records and prepares reports as required
- Performs all other duties reasonably within the scope and responsibility of the position
