  • Associate degree in culinary baking or patisserie (preferred)
  • Culinary baking or patisserie certification upon hire (preferred)
  • Food Handler Certificate (FHC) (preferred)
  • Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points Certification (HACCP) (preferred)
  • ServeSafe Certification (SERV) (preferred)

Job Duties

  • Maintain strict sanitation and food safety standards by following HACCP protocols
  • Record food and equipment temperatures
  • Keep workstations clean and organized
  • Operate industrial baking equipment safely and efficiently
  • Access computer systems to manage recipes, production logs, and inventory records
  • Knead, shape, and proof dough before baking to ensure consistency and freshness
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies proactively
  • Track ingredient usage to minimize waste
  • Prepare and decorate high-volume baked goods by following precise recipes and applying creative techniques
