- Associate degree in culinary baking or patisserie (preferred)
- Culinary baking or patisserie certification upon hire (preferred)
- Food Handler Certificate (FHC) (preferred)
- Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points Certification (HACCP) (preferred)
- ServeSafe Certification (SERV) (preferred)
Job Duties
- Maintain strict sanitation and food safety standards by following HACCP protocols
- Record food and equipment temperatures
- Keep workstations clean and organized
- Operate industrial baking equipment safely and efficiently
- Access computer systems to manage recipes, production logs, and inventory records
- Knead, shape, and proof dough before baking to ensure consistency and freshness
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies proactively
- Track ingredient usage to minimize waste
- Prepare and decorate high-volume baked goods by following precise recipes and applying creative techniques
