Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have valid drivers license
  • Must have reliable telephone and transportation
  • Must be able to lift, stoop, squat, push, stand and/or bend throughout the shift
  • Must be able to do repeated heavy lifting (up to 70 lbs) for extended periods of time on a regular basis
  • Must be willing and able to work in a variety of climatic conditions including extreme heat and cold
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • Must have clear driving record
  • Must be a citizen of the United States or possess the necessary authorization from the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS)
  • Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English
  • Must have excellent radio/telephone skills
  • Must be able to handle multiple situations simultaneously
  • Must be willing and able to cope with a variety of non-routine situations including early/late flights and weather delays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Computer experience preferred
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have reliable telephone and transportation
  • Must have valid drivers license
  • Must be detail-oriented and perform with minimal supervision
  • Ability to communicate in English clearly and concisely verbally and in written form

Job Duties

  • Safely operate high lift trucks to load and unload catering supplies, cargo, and other materials to and from aircraft
  • Adhere to all airport safety regulations and company policies
  • Actively participate in the companys Safety Management System (SMS)
  • Ensure proper placement and securement of loads to prevent damage during transport
  • Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately
  • Communicate effectively with ground operations staff, catering personnel, and flight crews to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
  • Coordinate with other team members to optimize workflow and minimize delays
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities, destinations, and any discrepancies
  • Complete required documentation for tracking and reporting purposes
  • Provide courteous and professional service to all airport personnel and flight crews
  • Address any concerns or issues promptly and escalate to the supervisor when necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned
