Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have valid drivers license
- Must have reliable telephone and transportation
- Must be able to lift, stoop, squat, push, stand and/or bend throughout the shift
- Must be able to do repeated heavy lifting (up to 70 lbs) for extended periods of time on a regular basis
- Must be willing and able to work in a variety of climatic conditions including extreme heat and cold
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must have clear driving record
- Must be a citizen of the United States or possess the necessary authorization from the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS)
- Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English
- Must have excellent radio/telephone skills
- Must be able to handle multiple situations simultaneously
- Must be willing and able to cope with a variety of non-routine situations including early/late flights and weather delays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Computer experience preferred
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have reliable telephone and transportation
- Must have valid drivers license
- Must be detail-oriented and perform with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate in English clearly and concisely verbally and in written form
Job Duties
- Safely operate high lift trucks to load and unload catering supplies, cargo, and other materials to and from aircraft
- Adhere to all airport safety regulations and company policies
- Actively participate in the companys Safety Management System (SMS)
- Ensure proper placement and securement of loads to prevent damage during transport
- Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately
- Communicate effectively with ground operations staff, catering personnel, and flight crews to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Coordinate with other team members to optimize workflow and minimize delays
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities, destinations, and any discrepancies
- Complete required documentation for tracking and reporting purposes
- Provide courteous and professional service to all airport personnel and flight crews
- Address any concerns or issues promptly and escalate to the supervisor when necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned
