Job Requirements
- Valid Minnesota driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year box truck or straight truck driving experience
- Must pass a TSA background check, airport security clearance and a safety-sensitive pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure airport environment
- Open availability: early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Able to take direction, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive, professional attitude
Job Qualifications
- High school or equivalent (preferred)
- Box truck: 1 year (required)
- English: spoken and written (required)
Job Duties
- Load and secure food, beverage, and equipment carts onto a high-lift box truck based on flight schedules
- Safely drive and operate the truck on airport grounds, adhering to all safety and security protocols
- Lift and position the truck at aircraft doors for accurate loading and unloading of catering carts
- Swap full carts with empty ones while ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Communicate clearly with airline crew, ramp agents, and kitchen staff to coordinate deliveries
- Monitor flight schedules to ensure on-time service for every flight
- Perform routine safety checks and keep the vehicle and carts clean and organized at all times
