Job Requirements
- Completion of food safety certification program
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand walk reach bend stoop and lift heavy items
- Strong communication skills

- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Able to work flexible shift schedule including nights weekends and holidays
- Can physically stand or walk 100 percent of shift
- Able to reach bend and stoop
- Ability to speak read and write English
- Able to read recipes and food labels
- Able to read POS ticket orders
- Communicates ticket times executes food flow from kitchen to guests and reports potential issues to manager on duty
- Able to safely use kitchen machinery such as open flame grill stove and slicer
- Work safely with hot plates pots and pans
- Work safely with sharp knives and utensils
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs several times per shift and lift these heavy loads to high shelves coolers and freezers
- Ability to hold items weighing up to 5 lbs for long periods of time
- Work in high temperature damp environment indoors and minimally outdoors
- Assist fellow employees with dishwashing and cleaning as needed
- Complete and pass food safety certification program in compliance with Flanigan's and Florida statutes
Job Duties
- Follow all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
- Prepare menu items according to company recipe manual and plate presentation
- Ensure rotation of all products and stock products to par level to prevent kitchen disruption
- Help complete assigned prep work to stock and setup stations as necessary
- Transport items to and from kitchen and assist vendors unloading delivery trucks
- Clean and maintain kitchen area throughout shift
- Break down and clean all stations at closing
