Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a dishwashing or kitchen cleaning role preferred
- ability to physically stand and walk 100 percent of shift
- ability to reach, bend, and stoop
- ability to immerse hands in water frequently diluted with chemical solutions
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs several times per shift
- ability to work in damp and high temperature environment
- ability to work safely with hot plates, pots, pans, sharp knives and utensils
- must complete and pass food safety certification program
- effective communication skills in English
Job Qualifications

- can immerse hands in water frequently, diluted with chemical solutions
- ability to speak, read and write English
- able to lift up to 50 lbs several times per shift and lift these heavy loads to high shelves, coolers, freezers
- work in damp, high temperature environment indoors and minimally outdoors
- work safely with hot plates, pots, pans
- work safely with sharp knives and utensils
- support fellow employees as needed
- complete and pass food safety certification program in compliance with Flanigan's and Florida statutes
Job Duties
- Follow all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
- wash and provide clean and sanitized plateware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, kitchen utensils using Flanigan's sanitation policies
- clean and sanitize throughout shift
- maintain kitchen area cleanliness including sweeping, mopping, and removing debris from floor
- perform assigned prep work, opening and closing duties, and beautification duties
- prepare and maintain dish machine at opening, during business hours, and at closing
