Job Requirements

  • Level II background check
  • copy of driver’s license
  • valid HHA certificate
  • CPR certification
  • physical examination with TB screening
  • resident card, employment card, or passport
  • two letters of recommendation
  • resume
  • local law enforcement background check
  • liability insurance through CMF Group
  • completion of in-services including HIPAA, HIV, infection control, and Alzheimer’s training

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) certification
  • CPR certification from Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • proven experience in caregiving or healthcare support
  • knowledge of infection control and HIPAA regulations
  • ability to perform physical tasks associated with patient care
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • familiarity with Alzheimer’s and other elder care needs

Job Duties

  • Provide ongoing medical supervision and care to medically fragile children and elderly patients in their homes
  • assist patients with daily living activities according to care plans
  • monitor patient health status and report changes to healthcare professionals
  • follow infection control procedures and maintain a safe environment
  • administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • educate patients and families about care and disease management
  • maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
