Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- at least 1 year of relevant host or hospitality experience
- ability to speak, read, write and understand English
- willingness to work flexible evening shifts including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- ability to lift up to 20 lbs regularly
- capable of bending, stooping, and stretching for cleaning tasks
- maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance
- ability to communicate clearly with guests and colleagues
- capability to use OpenTable and Microsoft Word
- commitment to safety and organized work practices
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 1 year experience in a similar host or hospitality role
- knowledge of food preparation and wine
- ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- basic computer skills including OpenTable and Microsoft Word
Job Duties
- Greet and interact with guests in a courteous and positive manner
- manage reservations and communicate effectively with restaurant staff
- assist with bussing tables and resetting dining areas
- run food and beverage items to tables when necessary
- maintain cleanliness and efficiency in the restaurant
- remain composed and professional during busy or unexpected situations
- help ensure guests have a satisfying dining experience
