Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in high school or high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- ability to read and understand correspondence, memoranda, and directives
- ability to follow safety regulations and labeling on products
- ability to communicate effectively with persons from a variety of cultures including non-English speakers
- ability to act decisively using good judgment
- ability to assess problems, anticipate needs and evaluate alternatives
- ability to work cooperatively with other staff members
- ability to accept criticism and discipline
- commitment to the organization and willingness to take initiative
- dependability and maturity in relationships
- ability to keep management informed
- ability to work as a team member
- ability to operate cleaning equipment safely according to policy

- knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment

- ability to lift objects frequently up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds
- ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, crawl, reach, kneel, twist, push and pull regularly
- ability to use hands for grasping and manipulation

- willingness to work varied schedules as assigned
Job Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in high school or high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- ability to speak, read or write any language other than English, including sign language
Job Duties
- Responsible for set-up of facility rooms as directed by the Operations Director and/or Crew Chief including staging, dance floor, audio/visual, and miscellaneous equipment
- sets up rooms for conferences, lectures and special events
- discards trash from waste receptacles
- dust mops, sweeps, and wet mops
- uses floor scrubber and buffer on all tile floor and wall areas
- spot cleans rugs and carpets
- scrubs and cleans rest room and locker room fixtures and keeps rest rooms supplied with towels, soap and other items
- dusts and cleans walls, doors, woodwork, and other above floor surfaces
- keeps janitor's supply closet and cleaning equipment clean
- cleans windows
- washes walls, vents and ceilings
- vacuums and washes light fixtures
- washes waste receptacles
- cleans carpets with extractor or shampoo machine
- shovels snow
- does gardening
- performs other duties as assigned or apparent
