Job Requirements

  • Minimum 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Willing to work a varied schedule to include days, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Minimum of 1-2 years supervisory experience
  • Minimum of 2 years full service restaurant experience

Job Duties

  • Maintain through knowledge of the Food and Beverage operations including, food, beverages, supervisory aspects, service techniques and guest interactions
  • Maintain complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers, room capacity, hours of operation, proper table set-up and dress code of the restaurant
  • Be familiar with all menu items, prices, preparation, method/time, major ingredients and quality standards of taste, appearance, and texture, serving temperature, portion control, garnish and method of preparation
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and abide by state and liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicate persons and drunk driving
  • Assign work and side duties to staff in accordance with departmental procedures
  • Communicate additions or changes to the assignments as they arise throughout the shift
  • Ensure that all assigned tasks are completed prior to staff sign out
  • Check storage areas frequently for proper supplies, organization and cleanliness
  • Complete requisition for additional supplies as need and submit to the Director of Operations and/or General Manager
  • Provide support to the Banquet Department
  • Attend designated meetings, menu, and wine tastings
  • Prepare weekly schedules for department
  • Coordinate staff breaks
  • Constantly monitor staff performance in all phases of service, job functions, ensuring that all procedures are carried out to departmental standards
