Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current CompTIA A+ certification
  • Ability to obtain Network+ or Security+ certification within 180 days
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with users
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Basic understanding of hardware and software
  • Experience with Microsoft Office preferred
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors
  • Willingness to learn and adhere to hotel policies

Job Qualifications

  • Current CompTIA A+ certification
  • Obtain Network+ or Security+ certification within 180 days of employment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions and procedures
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • General knowledge of hardware and software platforms
  • Understanding of the hotel’s general business functions
  • Attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic and friendly team member

Job Duties

  • Provide telephone help desk support including diagnosing problems and completing scheduled activities
  • Monitor Help Desk email account and direct workflow
  • Document problems or program malfunctions and notify Help Desk personnel
  • Install, replace, and move hardware equipment across the property
  • Assist guests with connecting to wired and wireless networks
  • Provide user support for all computer systems used throughout the hotel
  • Track inventory of computer hardware and software
  • Uphold Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Perform occasional heavy lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
