Job Requirements

  • Possess current rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate
  • Hold helicopter instrument rating
  • Maintain current FAA Class II medical certificate
  • Have at least 2,000 total flight hours
  • Have at least 1,500 helicopter flight hours
  • Have at least 1,000 helicopter pilot-in-command hours
  • Have at least 1,000 turbine helicopter hours
  • Have at least 200 helicopter night flight hours aided or unaided
  • Have at least 200 helicopter instrument flight hours including actual, hood, or simulator
  • Have 50 hours of actual weather flight time in aircraft
  • Willingness to upload pilot license and FAA medical certificate

Job Qualifications

  • Current rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate
  • Helicopter instrument rating
  • Current FAA Class II medical certificate
  • Minimum 2,000 total flight hours
  • Minimum 1,500 helicopter flight hours
  • Minimum 1,000 helicopter pilot-in-command (PIC) hours
  • Minimum 1,000 turbine helicopter hours
  • Minimum 200 helicopter night flight hours aided or unaided
  • Minimum 200 helicopter instrument flight hours including actual, hood, or simulator
  • 50 hours actual weather flight in aircraft
  • Preferred experience with EC135 helicopters

Job Duties

  • Work with medical teams to safely transport patients to and from facilities
  • Ensure aircraft readiness for flights including compliance with FAR and Med-Trans manuals and cleanliness
  • Maintain accurate maintenance, regulatory documentation, and record-keeping
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
  • Provide shift change information to successive pilots and teams following protocol
  • Maintain required certifications and complete ongoing training
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols during flight operations
