Job Requirements
- Current rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate
- Helicopter instrument rating
- Current FAA Class II medical certificate
- 2,000 total flight hours
- 1,500 helicopter hours
- 1,000 helicopter PIC hours
- 1,000 turbine helicopter hours
- 200 helicopter night flight hours (aided or unaided)
Job Qualifications
- Current rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate
- Helicopter instrument rating
- Current FAA Class II medical certificate
- Minimum 2,000 total flight hours
- Minimum 1,500 helicopter flight hours
- Minimum 1,000 helicopter pilot-in-command (PIC) hours
- Minimum 1,000 turbine helicopter flight hours
- Minimum 200 helicopter night flight hours (aided or unaided)
- Experience operating EC135 aircraft preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent or higher
Job Duties
- Work with medical teams to safely transport patients to and from medical facilities
- Ensure aircraft readiness including compliance with FAR and Med-Trans requirements and maintain aircraft cleanliness
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and records
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, medical personnel, facilities, and partners
- Provide shift change information to successive pilots and teams following Med-Trans protocols
- Maintain required pilot certifications and participate in ongoing training programs
