Job Requirements
- Helicopter flight experience of at least 2000 hours
- Pilot in Command experience of at least 1500 hours including 200 hours unaided night flight
- Experience with single pilot IFR and night operations
- FAA Commercial Pilot license for the State of Michigan
- Current FAA flight physical compliant with DOT requirements
- U.S. Passport or in progress
- Dual engine flight experience
- Ability to comply with drug-free workplace policies and vaccination requirements
- Eligible to work full-time with rotating shift availability
Job Qualifications
- Two thousand hours helicopter flight experience
- One thousand five hundred hours Pilot in Command with at least 200 hours unaided night as Pilot in Command
- Experience in Single Pilot Instrument Flight Rules and night operation
- Hold FAA Commercial Pilot license in the State of Michigan
- Current FAA Flight Physical meeting Department of Transportation standards
- Valid U.S. Passport or in process of obtaining
- Dual engine experience
- Preferred EMS flight experience
- Preferred FAA Part 135 experience
Job Duties
- Operate Spectrum Health Hospitals aircraft
- Maintain required documentation per FAA and company standards
- Communicate and collaborate with team members to coordinate services
- Act as a resource to community members in outreach initiatives
- Maintain accountability for the safety of aircraft operations
- Provide input into the development and revision of policies and procedures
- Participate in process improvement activities
