Job Requirements
- must be a current warrant officer grade w-2 or w-3
- possess military occupational specialty 154f
- have at least 24 months of specialized experience in operating main-frame military aircraft, mission planning, intelligence analysis, flight planning, crew briefings, aircraft inspections, navigation and reconnaissance operations, crew training, operational planning, and safety program oversight
- education cannot substitute for specialized experience

- strong analytical skills in mission tasking, intelligence, and weather assessment

Job Duties
- provide instruction, evaluation, and examination of rated pilots, instructor pilots, and aeroscout observers in flying techniques and methods
- plan and prepare mission operations
- review and analyze mission tasking, intelligence, and weather information
- file flight plans and conduct crew briefings
- perform aircraft preflight inspections, loading, and equipment assessments
- supervise navigation, search and rescue, surveillance, and reconnaissance operations
- conduct and supervise the training of crew members in mission specific tasks
- develop plans and policies, monitor operations, and advise commanders
- oversee unit flying, explosive, and ground safety programs in compliance with applicable regulations
