Job Requirements

  • hold FAA Commercial Pilot Rotorcraft Certificate
  • possess instrument helicopter rating
  • have valid FAA 2nd Class Medical certificate
  • maintain valid driver's license
  • accumulate 2000 total flight hours
  • have 1200 helicopter flight hours
  • obtain 1000 pilot-in-command helicopter hours
  • complete 500 turbine helicopter hours
  • log 500 cross-country flight hours
  • achieve 100 night flight hours with 50 unaided
  • record 75 instrument flight hours with 50 in flight
  • be able to perform pre-flight aircraft inspections
  • lift up to 40 pounds
  • demonstrate ability to wear respirator mask if requested
  • pass all required physical demands including vision and hearing standards
  • comply with all company policies and federal aviation regulations
  • work full-time on 7 on / 7 off schedule
  • be prepared to travel for annual training
  • meet all CAMTS standards

Job Qualifications

  • FAA Commercial Pilot Rotorcraft Certificate
  • Instrument Helicopter Rating
  • Airline Transport Pilot Rotorcraft preferred
  • FAA 2nd Class Medical (1st Class required at some locations)
  • valid driver's license
  • minimum 2000 total flight hours
  • minimum 1200 helicopter flight hours
  • minimum 1000 pilot-in-command helicopter hours
  • minimum 500 turbine helicopter hours
  • minimum 500 cross-country flight hours
  • 100 total night flight hours (50 unaided)
  • 75 total instrument flight hours (50 in flight)
  • preferred experience in air medical operations
  • preferred experience in single pilot IFR operations
  • preferred experience with night vision goggles
  • effective oral and written communication skills
  • sound judgment and decision-making ability
  • demonstrated leadership qualities
  • ability to maintain cooperative relationships
  • proficient in directing and guiding others

Job Duties

  • Operate assigned aircraft with full authority and responsibility during flight
  • perform duties courteously and professionally with customers, co-workers, management, and the public
  • maintain work and training schedules
  • serve extra duty shifts as required
  • attend company or customer meetings
  • comply with all company and regulatory operational directives
  • conduct pre-flight inspections and service aircraft to ensure airworthiness
  • maintain the cleanliness of the assigned aircraft
