Job Requirements
- Active membership as a soldier in the Army Reserve before start date
- ability to troubleshoot, maintain and repair heavy mobile equipment
- ability to perform preventative maintenance checks and services
- capability to repair, replace, install or adjust equipment parts
- willingness to work in tiring or uncomfortable positions
- ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds
- ability to work indoors and outdoors under varied weather conditions
- US citizenship
Job Qualifications
- Ability to do the work of a heavy mobile equipment repairer without more than normal supervision
- demonstrate knowledge, skills, and abilities in equipment maintenance and repair
- experience with preventative maintenance procedures
- capability to conduct operational tests and inspections
- physical ability to perform strenuous labor including lifting and working in diverse environmental conditions
Job Duties
- Troubleshoot, maintain and repair heavy mobile equipment
- perform preventative maintenance checks and services
- repair, replace, install, or adjust mobile equipment components and parts
- conduct various operational tests to perform final inspection
- work in tiring or uncomfortable positions for long periods including climbing and crawling
- lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds
- work both indoors and outdoors under varying weather conditions
