Job Requirements
- Previous Class A Heavy Haul experience required (minimum 3 years of verifiable experience)
- current Class A license and DOT medical card
- willingness to be on the road for 2-3 days as needed
- ability to secure loads appropriately
- ability to read and interpret directions and weigh scale tickets
- ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, nights, weekends, and fluctuating schedules
- ability to accommodate occasional overnight stays
- ability to work in adverse weather conditions
- ability to sit, climb, balance, bend, kneel frequently
- ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- manual dexterity, coordination, and constant movement required
- must maintain a presentable appearance, equipment, and positive attitude
- ability to discern what issues need to be brought to upper management
- ability to be a team player and build positive working relationships
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Operate heavy-duty trucks and trailers, load and unload heavy equipment, and secure the cargo with chains and other tie-down methods
- adhere to all federal, state, and local Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
- ensure compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSA) and DOT guidelines
- plan efficient and safe routes considering road restrictions and various terrains
- address challenges such as traffic congestion, unexpected road conditions, or mechanical problems
- perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and report damages or issues
- maintain ELD and DOT logbook, trip reports, and fuel receipts and submit as required
- ensure deliveries are made on time and in the order routed
- professional interaction with internal and external customers
- contact customers before expected arrival
- load and unload products carefully ensuring no damage
- maintain clean trucks and sweep trailers
- assist customers with product quality issues
