Job Requirements

- Ability to operate heavy mobile equipment or willingness to learn
- Basic mechanical aptitude

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in operating heavy equipment is a plus but not required
- Ability to learn and perform minor equipment maintenance
- Strong commitment to safety and operational procedures
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Physically capable of performing manual labor and operating heavy machinery
Job Duties
- Train in operation and minor maintenance of all on-site mobile equipment
- Conduct readiness and repair inspections on heavy equipment and vehicles on-site
- Responsible for routine maintenance on equipment such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning
- Operate articulated rubber-tired front-end loader to scoop, lift and transport bulk materials
- Operate bulldozer to stockpile inbound bulk materials and load conveyor systems
- Notify the duty supervisor of any equipment malfunction during operation
- Perform housekeeping duties throughout the plant
- Maintain a clean and organized work area free of trash or debris
- Complete required work permits, safety documents, and inspection reports
- Assist in development of written safety procedures for job tasks
- Perform work consistently to meet job specifications
- Ensure compliance with safety, personnel, attendance, and other plant procedures
