Job Requirements
- Must have a valid class A commercial driver’s license or chauffeur's license appropriate for vehicle weight
- must pass background check and drug testing per federal and state transportation regulations
- must pass DOT physical examination
- minimum age of 21 years
- able to sit for prolonged periods in trailer cab
- able to lift and move up to 40 pounds
- able to travel frequently
- may be required to be clean shaven for some deliveries
- successful completion of 10 panel drug screen
- willingness to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend on call duties under special circumstances
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Operate vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws
- transport loads safely and in a timely manner over required routes, obeying all traffic laws and safety regulations
- maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas, following loading crew signals
- assist with loading and unloading goods and materials using specialized equipment when warranted
- maintain signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork, delivering documentation to shipping office as needed
- perform routine service checks on trucks, including checking oil, water, gasoline, and air, and report maintenance malfunctions
- arrange trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns
- perform other related duties as assigned
