Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in commercial or hospitality cleaning preferred
- Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment and follow safety protocols
- Good communication skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Availability to work varied shifts
Job Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and all levels of employees
- Ability to clean floors and replenish soft and hard supplies
- Ability to effectively and efficiently move from floor to floor as needed
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds to perform floor cleaning duties
- Experience in operating cleaning machinery and handling chemicals safely
Job Duties
- Remove spots from carpets, perform bonnet and extraction carpet cleaning, dispose of trash and assist with hazardous waste collection
- Operate floor sweepers, buffers, strippers, canister vacuum cleaners and shop vacuums, and wear adequate personal protective equipment when working with chemicals and equipment
- Clean hotel rooms, hallways, common areas and other areas
- Keep inventory of floor areas, and schedule cleaning and maintenance
- Report maintenance issues to supervisor
- Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment
- Label and measure chemicals correctly
- operate chemical dispensing units
