- High school diploma or equivalent
- physical mobility with ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
- ability to work in environments with varying noise levels
- willingness to adhere to safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment
- ability to maintain cleanliness standards consistently
- strong attention to detail and reliability
Job Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and all levels of employees
- ability to clean floors and replenish soft and hard supplies
- ability to move efficiently from floor to floor
- experience operating cleaning equipment and handling chemicals safely
- knowledge of chemical labeling and dispensing procedures
Job Duties
- Remove spots from carpets, perform bonnet and extraction carpet cleaning, dispose of trash and assist with hazardous waste collection
- operate floor sweepers, buffers, strippers, canister vacuum cleaners and shop vacuums
- wear adequate personal protective equipment when working with chemicals and equipment
- clean hotel rooms, hallways, common areas and other areas
- keep inventory of floor areas and schedule cleaning and maintenance
- report maintenance issues to supervisor
- clean, maintain and store cleaning equipment
- label and measure chemicals correctly
- operate chemical dispensing units
