Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • six months of prior janitorial experience required
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and operate equipment
  • must obtain and maintain License C with Spokane Tribal Gaming Commission
  • attend required training sessions
  • comply with local laws and casino policies
  • able to work graveyard shifts
  • safe handling of chemicals
  • ability to lift 10 to 100 pounds
  • work effectively in varying environmental conditions
  • maintain confidentiality and report illegal activity

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • six months of prior janitorial experience preferred with floor care given preference
  • excellent guest service and communication skills
  • ability to physically perform duties including using cleaning chemicals and equipment, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Strip and wax floors
  • shampoo carpets
  • clean kitchen walls, under equipment, drains, and vent hoods
  • pressure wash floors and restrooms
  • clean walls, ceilings, lights, fixtures, vents, windows, counters, tables, chairs, railings
  • maintain floors and walls in dining and back of house areas
  • perform special cleaning projects
  • operate and maintain cleaning equipment
  • execute core guest service standards
  • assist facilities engineers during adverse weather conditions
  • report safety concerns promptly
  • perform general cleaning duties such as vacuuming, stain removal, window and brass polishing, trash removal, and cleaning gaming areas
