Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and moving equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines
- Ability to work flexible shifts if required
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with patients
- Understanding of infection control and sanitation procedures
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Attention to detail and reliability
- Basic organizational skills
Job Duties
- Clean patient rooms daily including hi and low dusting of vertical surfaces
- Damp wipe furniture
- Service restrooms
- Remove regulated and medical waste refuse
- Dry and wet mop floors or vacuum
- Spot clean walls if visibly soiled
- Inspect and evaluate work
- Perform discharge cleaning as per housekeeping policy
- Clean support areas such as corridors, utility rooms, pantries, nurses stations, and treatment areas daily
- Gather necessary supplies and maintain equipment in acceptable manner
- Deliver excellent customer service to improve patient satisfaction scores
- Perform floor burnishing
- Perform wall washing
- Move heavy and light equipment
- Change cubical curtains
- Clean windows
- Perform carpet bonnet or extraction shampooing
- Perform upholstery cleaning
- Strip and refinish floors
- Perform cycle cleaning of surgical suites according to policy
- Perform other assigned duties
