- knowledge of housekeeping and sanitation practices
- ability to follow established policies and procedures
- effective communication skills
Job Duties
- Move furniture, equipment, and supplies in and around the department or hospital
- pick up biohazard and hospital trash and soiled linen
- perform a variety of housekeeping duties to maintain the facility in an orderly and sanitary condition
- perform duties in accordance with established policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
- adhere to safety and infection control standards
- assist in maintaining safe and clean working environments
- handle tasks in both indoor and outdoor conditions
