Job Requirements
- proved experience as a line cook
- ability to communicate in English
- ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions
- must attend orientation and agree to policies and procedures
- must complete HOH training program before working unsupervised
- must complete any required training for local and state regulations
- ability to stand, walk, and use hands and fingers for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 15 pounds
- must maintain personal hygiene and adhere to uniform standards
- willingness to work in environments exposed to fumes, humid conditions, and cleaning chemicals
Job Qualifications
- proven experience as a line cook
- ability to communicate in English
- ability to understand preparation recipes and line build procedures
- ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions
- ability to work effectively in standardized situations
- successful completion of HOH training program
- knowledge of food safety and alcohol service certifications as required
Job Duties
- adhere to uniform standards
- adhere to prep and line build recipes
- check quality of ingredients
- maintain clean and organized stations and equipment
- ensure HOH standards, safety and sanitation requirements are followed at all times
- work as a team
- train using tablets or computer
- perform any other duty or responsibility that management may deem necessary
