Job Requirements

- One-year supervisory experience in a restaurant, healthcare or hospitality setting
- ServSafe Manager certified
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Duties
- Complete opening and closing procedures to ensure a smooth operation
- Supervise waitstaff to ensure efficient service
- Ensure timely meal preparation and service in all areas
- Plate food according to standards, including proper garnishes and accompaniments
- Maintain communication with Health Services to track dietary changes and updates
- Assist with receiving and checking daily deliveries, and help with monthly inventory
- Ensure compliance with DHEC and quality standards
- Assign and monitor cleaning duties for work areas and equipment
- Ensure dining room service standards are met and address resident concerns
- Supervise and operate the POS machine during meal hours, maintaining daily records for revenue and resident meal accounts
- Consult with the Director of Culinary Services regarding resident food service and therapeutic diets
- may assist in planning menus
