Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations
Willingness to work full-time or part-time with flexible shift availability
Basic knowledge of inventory management and food service procedures
Commitment to punctuality and regular attendance
Capability to perform physically demanding tasks such as meal cart delivery and tray removal
Compliance with hospital and Sodexo policies and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

Team-oriented and adaptable
Reliable with good attendance
Ability to work varying shifts with open availability preferred
Zero to one year of related experience is beneficial
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to maintain a healthy and safe working environment
Ability to operate technical equipment related to meal delivery services

Job Duties

Effectively communicate with patients, staff and guests of the hospital to ensure accuracy and timelines of patient meal trays and floor stock
Record the amount and type of special food
Deliver meal carts to patient units
Aid in the meal set-up at bedside with direct patient contact
Discard soiled trays
Take inventory of nourishment areas, stock when necessary and accurately operate technical equipment
Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements
