Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0 to 1 year of related experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals
  • Reliable and punctual attendance
  • Team-oriented and adaptable
  • Ability to maintain a healthy and safe work environment
  • Willingness to work varying shifts including weekends
  • Ability to operate meal service equipment accurately

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 0 to 1 year of related experience beneficial
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Customer service experience is a plus
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of operating technical equipment related to meal services
  • Adaptability to rotating shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends

Job Duties

  • Effectively communicate with patients, staff and guests to ensure accurate and timely delivery of patient meal trays and floor stock
  • Record the amount and type of special food
  • Deliver meal carts to patient units
  • Aid in the meal set-up at bedside with direct patient contact
  • Discard soiled trays
  • Take inventory of nourishment areas and restock when necessary
  • Accurately operate technical equipment related to meal service
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business necessities and client requirements
