Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous customer service or hospitality experience beneficial but not required
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of patients, staff and guests
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to follow instructions accurately
Availability to work varying shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, some weekends and holidays
Ability to handle physically demanding tasks related to meal delivery

0-1 year of related experience is beneficial

Job Duties

Effectively communicate with patients, staff and guests to ensure accurate and timely delivery of patient meal trays and floor stock
Record the amount and type of special food
Deliver meal carts to patient units
Aid in meal set-up at bedside with direct patient contact
Discard soiled trays
Take inventory of nourishment areas and restock when necessary
Accurately operate technical equipment
Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
Perform other duties as assigned based on client requirements
