Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and hospital staff
Previous experience in customer service or healthcare environment is a plus
Ability to handle physical tasks including delivering meal carts
Availability to work weekend morning shifts
Reliable transportation to Sharp Memorial Hospital
Adherence to hospital safety and hygiene protocols

Job Qualifications

0-1 year of related experience is beneficial
Team-oriented and adaptable
Reliable and committed to a healthy and safe work environment
Good communication skills
Ability to work well with others in a hospital setting

Job Duties

Effectively communicate with patients, staff and guests to ensure accuracy and timeliness of patient meal trays and floor stock
Record the amount and type of special food
Deliver meal carts to patient units
Aid in meal set-up at bedside with direct patient contact
Discard soiled trays
Take inventory of nourishment areas and stock as needed
Accurately operate technical equipment
Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time
Perform other duties as assigned depending on business needs and client requirements
