Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
0 to 1 year of related experience preferred
ability to communicate effectively with patients and hospital staff
open availability for varying shifts
reliable and punctual
ability to operate basic technical equipment
willingness to perform additional duties as assigned
commitment to maintaining a healthy and safe work environment

comfortable working in a healthcare environment

Job Duties

effectively communicate with patients, staff and guests to ensure accuracy and timeliness of patient meal trays and floor stock
record the amount and type of special food
deliver meal carts to patient units
aid in meal set-up at bedside with direct patient contact
discard soiled trays
take inventory of nourishment areas and stock when necessary
accurately operate technical equipment
attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
perform other duties as assigned depending on client requirements
