Job Requirements

- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, hospital staff and guests
- Willingness to work varied workdays and shifts as required
- Ability to operate technical equipment related to patient meal services
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Basic understanding of inventory management
- Ability to provide compassionate patient interaction

- 0 to 1 year of related experience is beneficial

Job Duties
- Effectively communicate with patients, staff and guests of the hospital to ensure accuracy and timelines of patient meal trays and floor stock
- Record the amount and type of special food
- Deliver meal carts to patient units
- Aid in meal set-up at bedside with direct patient contact
- Discard soiled trays
- Take inventory of nourishment areas, stock when necessary and accurately operate technical equipment
- Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- Perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
