Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-1 year of related experience preferred
  • Ability to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, some weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to handle direct contact with patients

  • Ability to nurture a healthy and safe working environment
  • 0-1 year of related experience is beneficial
  • Strong communication skills
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to operate technical equipment accurately

Job Duties

  • Effectively communicate with patients, staff and guests to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of meal trays and floor stock
  • Record the amount and type of special food
  • Deliver meal carts to patient units
  • Aid in meal set-up at bedside with direct patient contact
  • Discard soiled trays
  • Take inventory of nourishment areas and restock when necessary
  • Accurately operate technical equipment
  • Attend work and show up for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs and client requirements
