Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum 2 years dining experience
  • Food safety certification
  • Ability to motivate and energize teams
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations
  • Ability to manage budgets and inventory
  • Leadership skills
  • Ability to train and mentor staff

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Associates degree preferred
  • Food safety certification renewed every 3 years or as required
  • CDM licensure preferred with company sponsorship during first 12 months
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in dining
  • Preferably 3 years leadership experience
  • Experience in both front of house and back of house dining operations
  • Ability to motivate and energize teams
  • Effective communication skills for difficult conversations
  • Skilled in staff training, onboarding, and retention
  • Customer hospitality orientation

Job Duties

  • Supervise service operations for food preparation and service delivery
  • Direct daily food service operations ensuring adequate equipment, inventory, and resources
  • Oversee all dining room operations including table service, food bars, and buffets
  • Collaborate with kitchen team and registered dietician for food preparation supervision
  • Manage inventory of food, equipment, and dining room supplies
  • Control budget by monitoring costs and making necessary adjustments
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation guidelines and federal/state regulations
  • Train, coach, and mentor employees with a focus on hospitality
  • Establish and maintain operating and safety standards
  • Implement process improvements
  • Oversee food preparation including portioning, garnishing, presentation, and storage
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and dining room
