Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of computer systems and strong keyboarding skills
- Successful completion of HUC post-secondary program or HUC certification preferred
- Minimum of one year experience in a medical environment preferred
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred
- Proficiency in computer skills
- Working knowledge of EHR systems, EPIC preferred
- Outstanding customer service and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations in patient care
- Availability for flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Maintains certifications and licensure per work unit requirements

Job Duties
- Provide organizational, receptionist, and clerical support to patient care units and the healthcare team
- Monitor and order supplies
- Promptly respond to patient call lights and elevate patient needs to nursing staff
- Assist care team with managing orders in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and facility staff
- Act as a resource to members of the healthcare team
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and support the healthcare team by anticipating and responding to team requests and patient needs
