Job Requirements

Must be able to physically lift 20lbs

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Two or more years of verifiable experience driving vehicle with a gross weight of 23,000 lbs or more such as a bus, RV, or delivery vehicle
Acceptable driving record
Must have a CDL license with air brake endorsement

Job Duties

Operate and safely drive Hampton University Health Mobile unit up to 41 feet
Inspect the Health Mobile prior and post trips
Schedule maintenance and repair of mobile unit such as oil changes, fuel checks, fluid checks, and maintain event equipment including tables, awnings, banners, televisions
Maintain all DOT and vehicle logs as required by law and university documents
Actively document and report any malfunctions or accidents as needed
Perform related work as required
Other duties as assigned
