- Proven track record in nursing leadership, preferably in senior living or long-term care environments
- Strong clinical knowledge and leadership skills
- Ability to manage both administrative and hands-on aspects of nursing care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for senior care and commitment to providing a high quality of life for residents
Job Duties
- Oversee the clinical supervision and administration of all nursing services
- Implement and maintain nursing objectives, standards, policies, and procedures, revising them as necessary
- Provide clinical guidance to nursing staff, including LPNs, CNAs, and other care team members
- Collaborate with community administrators to ensure all staff receive necessary orientation and training
- Conduct regular assessments of residents and ensure all required documentation is up-to-date
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and Americare regulations
- Manage medication systems and ensure they meet regulatory guidelines and resident needs
- Play a key role in quality assurance by maintaining community standards, assisting with inspections, and upholding a safe, home-like environment for residents
