  • Proven track record in nursing leadership, preferably in senior living or long-term care environments
  • Strong clinical knowledge and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage both administrative and hands-on aspects of nursing care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion for senior care and commitment to providing a high quality of life for residents

Job Duties

  • Oversee the clinical supervision and administration of all nursing services
  • Implement and maintain nursing objectives, standards, policies, and procedures, revising them as necessary
  • Provide clinical guidance to nursing staff, including LPNs, CNAs, and other care team members
  • Collaborate with community administrators to ensure all staff receive necessary orientation and training
  • Conduct regular assessments of residents and ensure all required documentation is up-to-date
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and Americare regulations
  • Manage medication systems and ensure they meet regulatory guidelines and resident needs
  • Play a key role in quality assurance by maintaining community standards, assisting with inspections, and upholding a safe, home-like environment for residents
