Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field preferred
  • Three to five years of health and safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • Experience in conducting incident investigations, root cause analysis, and developing corrective actions

Job Duties

  • Champion a safety-first culture by engaging with employees, supervisors, and plant leadership to embed safe work practices into daily operations
  • Partner with plant leadership and the Senior Health and Safety Manager to develop and implement safety programs that align with company goals and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and other relevant health and safety standards
  • Conduct and oversee plant safety audits, risk assessments, and workplace hazard evaluations, recommending corrective measures as needed
  • Lead accident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans to prevent recurrence
  • Coordinate and facilitate safety training programs for all employees, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Work closely with plant leadership, supervisors, and employees to address safety concerns and develop practical, effective solutions
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to drive continuous improvement in workplace safety
