Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous cleaning or janitorial experience beneficial
Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays and special events
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Must have basic communication skills in English
Must maintain a friendly, professional demeanor at all times
Must be First Aid/CPR/AED certified or able to obtain certification within a reasonable period
Ability to follow Omni Hotels & Resorts standards, rules, and procedures
Must be able to work as part of a team
Must be punctual and reliable

Job Qualifications

Excellent customer service skills
Must be able to move up to 50 pounds
Must be able to see, hear and communicate
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and walk long distances
Enthusiastic, willing to learn, outgoing, friendly and professional
First Aid/CPR/AED certified
Experience or interest in fitness and/or retail clothing sales preferred
Excellent communication and organizational skills preferred
Ability to work in high traffic areas and give service to several customers at one time preferred
Able to multitask under high business levels preferred

Job Duties

Clean and maintain cleanliness of locker rooms including steam rooms, showers, saunas, toilets, lockers, sinks, floors, carpets, mirrors, and countertops
Clean and maintain fitness center and tennis pro shop including exercise equipment, floors, mirrors, countertops, and pool deck area
Clean all areas of facilities while keeping a tidy workspace and engaging with guests and members
Maintain a positive and effective operation and engage with each member on a personal basis
Keep gym and storage room orderly and clean
Keep supervisor appraised of re-ordering needs
Clean fitness machines as needed
Re-stock towels as needed
Maintain cleanliness of locker rooms, fitness center, tennis pro-shop, and pool deck area
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies
Use time clock daily
Work with other front desk staff to maintain a working schedule
Work holidays and events and special programs as scheduled
Properly handle keys with access to Health and Fitness Center and Tennis Pro Shop
Ability to work early mornings and evenings
Maintain standards of guest services and consistent positive guest experience documented by J.D. Power and AAA Ratings
Thoroughly understand Omni Hotels culture, rules, and regulations
Answer phones using proper "Moments of Service" scenario
Provide guests with cheerful, personable, efficient service
Be responsible for clean and professional uniform appearance
Fully understand and implement "Moments of Service" and "Power of Engagement"
Interact with every guest using Omni Standards
Be knowledgeable about all hotel amenities and property specifics
Actively participate in the assurance of the safety of all guests
Treat everyone including supervisors, staff, and guests with courtesy and respect always
