Job Requirements

  • Associate degree with 2 years concierge-oriented customer service experience
  • Or bachelor's degree with 1 year concierge-oriented customer service experience
  • Or 3 years concierge-oriented customer service experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and provide concierge-level service
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
  • Proficiency in web and PC applications

Job Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in concierge-oriented customer service
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Experience in plan of care and assisting customers with selecting in-network providers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including motivational interviewing
  • Ability to build trust and provide concierge-level service
  • Proficiency with web and PC applications
  • Preferred associate or bachelor's degree in health science or related field
  • Experience with HCSC customer service systems and insurance products
  • Clinical or social work expertise
  • Experience coordinating medical services
  • Understanding of health benefit plans and the insurance industry

Job Duties

  • Provide concierge guidance to members and providers regarding medical, behavioral health, and prescription benefits and claims
  • Assist members in using healthcare tools, selecting health partner options, and scheduling provider appointments
  • Communicate effectively across phone, webchat, and written channels to deliver information and support
  • Act as a subject matter expert and lead projects as assigned
  • Participate in training and mentoring other team members
  • Collaborate with clinicians from medical, behavioral health, and pharmacy to support member health outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure attention to detail in all interactions
