Job Requirements

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and other employees
  • detect and identify safety issues and comply with safety guidelines and standards
  • lift and carry trays, dishes, equipment, and goods up to 50 lbs
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • bend, stoop, and reach to access various areas and items

Job Duties

  • Motivate, mentor and develop a culinary team comprised of sushi chefs
  • manage the overall culinary standards in a high volume/high standard scratch kitchen
  • collaborate with teams to create dishes showcased on specials page and core menu
  • maintain a neat and organized workspace including storage and cleaning
  • safely use kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, and knives
  • respond quickly and efficiently to customer needs
  • celebrate team successes and foster a positive work environment
