Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of culinary experience preferably as a sushi chef
  • supervisory experience in a similar size operation
  • ability to communicate in English
  • strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • proficiency in sushi preparation techniques
  • excellent organizational skills
  • ability to maintain professional appearance and conduct

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage the kitchen team
  • ensure all sushi menu items are prepared to the highest quality standards
  • handle and store food in compliance with established guidelines
  • mentor and train sushi chefs
  • maintain vacation schedules for proper staffing
  • manage culinary equipment and supplies
  • participate in VIP parties and staff meetings
