Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
- must complete sanitation course shortly after employment if not already completed
- ability to work occasional nights and weekends
- good communication skills
- ability to multitask effectively
- must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

- Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year
- must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program

Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets
- direct daily activities
- maintain food production ensuring safety and quality according to policies
- ensure food items are stored safely and in hazard-free environment
- maintain all serving schedules and ensure food items are served per menu specifications
- maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes
- maintain accurate inventory on a weekly basis
- supervise and evaluate employees
- maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
- train and mentor other food service workers
- maintain logs on equipment maintenance
- ensure completion of food safety/temperature logs with corrective action
- perform preventative maintenance checklist
- recommend replacement of equipment
- fill in for absent employees
- attend food service meetings
- maintain communication with staff
- perform cashier duties as needed
- promote good public relations
